Latest Kilauea Status update provided via the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Website USGS
Recent Observations at the middle east rift zone vents:
Surface flows continued to be active within the abandoned Royal Gardens subdivision, with active flows slowing in their seaward advance across the coastal plain near the easternmost boundary of Hawai`i Volcanoes National Park; over the past two nights, webcam views of the flows suggested that they were less active than during the previous week. On Monday, the flows were no closer than 400 m (0.25 mi) to the coast and webcams overnight recorded continued activity but no significant seaward advance.
